Context
Phước Lại Commune in Cần Giuộc District, Long An Province (now reorganized into the new Cần Giuộc Commune) is defined by the waterways of lower Cần Giuộc, rapid urbanization, direct adjacency to Ho Chi Minh City and major planned urban megaprojects.
Challenge
The project focuses on large-scale urban development with modern smart infrastructure, pioneering a smart-city development model. The work progressed continuously from concept through the 1:2,000 Zoning Plan dossier.
The team's role
In collaboration with a Chinese consultant. Led development of the project concept dossier. Led preparation and quality control of the appraisal and approval dossier.
Result
Project approved in 2020.
