Context
Cần Giuộc and Long Hậu are located in southeastern Long An Province, directly adjoining Ho Chi Minh City (Bình Chánh and Nhà Bè districts). The area is a major economic gateway with large industrial parks, rapid urbanization and strong transport connectivity to Ho Chi Minh City.
Challenge
The objective was to create a themed urban area with diverse housing and eco-cultural tourism components, developed continuously from concept through the 1:500 Detailed Planning dossier.
The team's role
For Mỹ Lộc, led the work from concept through preparation and quality control of the 1:500 Detailed Planning dossier. For Long Hậu, collaborated with DPA Singapore, delivered bilingual project presentations, and led preparation and quality control of the appraisal and approval dossier.
Result
Project approved in 2020.
