Context
Phước Long is a town in northern Bình Phước Province, about 160 km from Ho Chi Minh City. It is known for 736 m-high Bà Rá Mountain and the historic liberation of Phước Long on January 6, 1975, regarded as a strategic reconnaissance victory that helped pave the way for the Ho Chi Minh Campaign.
Challenge
Planning for Phước Long was aligned with the province’s urban spatial strategy to develop the town as a northern growth center and complete the criteria for upgrading to a Class III urban area in 2025–2030. The work continued from concept through the 1:2,000 Zoning Plan and the Detailed Planning dossier for the administrative center.

Led concept design and dossier development through preparation and quality control of the Zoning Plan and Phase 1 Detailed Planning dossiers.
Result
Project approved in 2014.
